Highly superior to the 1994 remake in my opinion :)

the original. the classic. this movie has a lot of heart. the only time i dislike the acting, is when i really feel like i'm watching a movie from the '40's. i mean, they weren't always given the best material with dialogue and sometimes it just doesn't seem like people ever REALLY talked like that.

but, really. that's a complaint about the whole era of movies. not this one in particular. it actually transcends that stereotype quite nicely.

Natalie Wood is to die for. and i like the little cameo from Fred Mertz (aka William Frawley).

Love this movie. Watch it every year.

Hands down my favorite Christmas movie, as well as the best onscreen Santa ever!

My second fave Xmas movie. It's a Wonderful Life is first. Hmph! I haven't seen either of them this year. :(
